Watchmen – Opening Credits
If anyone has a Watchmen video and would like to post it as a video response to this video feel free to send me request. As long as it deals with Watchmen I’ll accept it. All credit goes to Zack Snyder for his direction along with musician Bob Dylan for making this one of the best opening credits ever filmed and lastly Warner Bros. Entertainment Inc. and Paramount Pictures for distribution. Thanks for giving me the privilege of keeping this video up. This video was edited and rendered in 720P with Sony Vegas Pro.

@marcusklaas Kenn State. There are a lot of fucked up things in American History we weren’t taught in history class. Gotta teach yourself.

@IWantDaveKast and we hate you, all even?

I hate this opening credits because it is SOOOOOOOOO cliche. It is clearly done so that it can be remembered. It tries to be art. I hate that.

@petekwando Good post, but I liked the squid. I think it’s a reminder of the genre in which the novel was written.

Actually they modified the Silk Spectre II costume a bit

I havent notice the Batman reference at the start of the sequence! This is by far the best opening sequence in any movie

I love this opening, and even more because I really did not like the rest of the movie. This part of the movie is the MOST true to the book.

@petekwando Also, the lyrics of this song take part on what is happening on the screen, many times. For example, “Mothers and fathers, dont criticize what you cant understand” and they show the dead lesbians. I could give more examples.

I may sound retarded but I don’t understand a bit of this. I read that the timelines are supposed to have diverged with the assassination of Kennedy. Is that scene supposed to imply that the Comedian killed Kennedy or that he saved him? Either way it makes sense, I just need clarification.

amazing movie

i read the book just before this came out, and yes it was a worthy adaptaion of the book- thus i enjoyed it. HOWEVER: i am deeply convinced if you hadnt read the book you wouldnt know wtfs going on. Example: Rosarchs moving mask is not explained in the movie why it moves, yet in the book it does.
